Chanterelle String Quartet

The members of the Chanterelle Quartet began playing together in 2022 at Indiana University. The members consist of Emilia Sharpe, violin; Spencer Day, violin; Wan-Zhen Xie, viola; Erica Ogihara, cello. Passionate about exploring music from various backgrounds, the group loves to present programs that bring together audience favorites as well as new and unrecognized gems. The quartet is excited to present this concert at St. Peter's which celebrates American folk songs and hymns. Featuring music by American composers Jennifer Higdon, Frederick Tillis, and Florence Price, enjoy this memorable program of beautiful lyricism and rich harmony.
