Christmas

Wednesdays of Advent

November 29 - December 20

Our Wednesday Advent series for traditional worship focuses on Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine, for your light has come.” All services will have candlelight and Lindsey will offer special music every Wednesday at 7pm.

To kick off the series, cookies and hot chocolate will be served and Daniel will lead a Christmas sing-along in the church lobby on November 29.

Weekends of Advent

Dysfunctional Family Christmas
This three-week series (December 3-17) will zero in on Matthew 1, the genealogy of Jesus. In a genealogy, we are able to unearth part of the present that is buried in the past. Buried in Jesus’ past is a family of dysfunction. A family of sinners. But through the dysfunction, comes one without sin, the perfected Son of God redeeming His family and His past. This Christmas Jesus shows up to do the same thing for you.

St. Peter's has put together an Advent devotional to go alongside our Sunday preaching series. Copies are also available in the church lobby or you can text the word ADVENT to 812-775-2300 to receive the devotions daily.
