Venture Mission Trip 2024 - Japan

While our team is full for this mission trip, we ask you to pray for the team as they prepare to leave and while in Japan.

The students experience a single home stay in a Japanese home, where not all members of the family may speak English. This may be one of the few opportunities that a Japanese person will ever have contact with a Christian.  The students will also have the opportunity to interact, daily, with students at Urawa Lutheran School. They will present their personal faith testimonies, perform a creative drama story from the Bible, and experience life as a Japanese student.

Mission trip goals:

To assist with the ministry of God’s word and the expansion of the Gospel at Urawa Lutheran School (ULS).

To build new relationships with the faculty and students at the school.

To learn about the unique history and culture of Japan.

To experience life in a Japanese homestay.

To use the gained experience in continued outreach to the Japanese community in Columbus upon return.
