A Safe Place for Kids to Grow in Their Faith

St. Peter's Kids Ministry strives to connect kids to Jesus by cultivating authentic, loving relationships, delivering biblically sound teaching, and encouraging lifelong discipleship. Kids Ministry is designed to provide opportunities for kids to meet great friends, have fun, and grow in their faith.

Kids Care is available for Birth–PreK during the 10:45am service in room 2123 (Baby Room) and 2129 (PreK Room). All leaders serving with kids are Child Protection Plan certified through St. Peter's.

These groups are for birth–6th grade and meet Sundays from 9:30–10:30am during the school calendar year.

Quest Groups meet weekly during the school year and are free to attend! Please register each kid in your family who is planning to attend (even if they won't be able to make it every week). This helps us prep resources and volunteers to be ready each week.

Kids will be in groups based on their ages:

  • Quest Babies (0-2 years old)
  • Quest Preschool (3-5 years old)
  • Quest Kids (Kindergarten-3rd grade)
  • Quest Preteens (4-6th grade)

Quest Groups

Our baby room is designed for littles to play, explore, and discover as they learn about Jesus.

Our PreK friends discover a fun, hands-on learning experience filled with singing, games, play and crafts. Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever.

Kids in grades K-3 experience an engaging time of worship, teaching and small groups. Kids will play games, sing, meet friends, and learn about a God who they can trust and who loves them deeply through discovering the Bible.

Our preteen leaders are all about creating a space where kids can come together to experience Jesus through worship, small group discussions, engaging videos, and creative activities based on a clear and simple bottom line each week so kids can remember everyday what matters most.

First Time at St. Peter's?

Attending St. Peter’s for the first time with children? By letting us know you are coming, we can get your children pre-registered in our system, so that when you arrive we can focus on welcoming your child to church instead of completing forms.

We can’t wait to meet you and your family! When entering the Kids hallway, look for our hospitality team members behind the check-in tables. We will ask for your family’s contact information, as well as specifics regarding your child. You will then be directed to your child's appropriate room!

Yes, all people serving with kids go through an extensive vetting process including the Child Protection Program, background checks, orientation, and reference checks. And just for added reassurance, no team member is ever permitted to be alone with a child.

Child Protection Dates and Information

Changing tables are in the classrooms in view of all team members. St. Peter's provides all necessary supplies. When an older child needs restroom assistance, they’re accompanied by more than one team member.

Allergy friendly snacks (pretzels & animal crackers) are only served during Kids Care @ 10:45. Outside food is not allowed in the classroom (with the exception of sippy cups and bottles). If your child has an allergy, please tell a team member at the check-in table. This important info will be added to your child’s ID label.
