Fitness for Christ! Life | Fitness offers a variety of fitness classes that combine faith, fitness, and fellowship. Classes provide the opportunity to be in community with one another while glorifying God through physical fitness.


There will be  Free Drop-In Classes the week of January 7th:


Dance Cardio: ***Class takes place at First Christian Church  

Monday, January 7th: 6pm-7pm


Senior Strength and Stretch: 

Monday, January 7th: 8:30am-9:30am

Wednesday, January 9th: 8:30am-9:30am


Mat Pilates with Sarah:

Monday, January 7th: 3:45pm-4:45pm

Thursday, January 10th: 5:30pm-6:30pm


Strength/Cardio: 

Tuesday, January 8th: 4:30pm-5:30pm

Tuesday, January 8th; 5:30pm-6:30pm

Thursday, January 10th: 3:30pm-4:30pm

Thursday, January 10th: 4:30pm-5:30pm


Core (30 minute class):

Tuesday, January 8th: Noon-12:30pm

Thursday, January 10th: Noon-12:30pm



The Late Winter round of classes will run from the week of January 14th through the week of March 4th.  Classes will meet once a week for the 8 weeks. The class schedule and descriptions are listed below. *NO classes on Monday, January 21st (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). 


Cost:

-1 hour classes cost $20.00 total for 8 weeks (*unless noted otherwise) and 30 minute classes cost $5 total for the 8 weeks

-If you would like to take multiple classes per week, please register for each class separately even if it is the same type of class.

-Scholarships are available, please contact lifefitness@stpeters-columbus.org or call (812) 372-1571 for more information.

You can register online (see below) OR pick up a registration form at the church/school front desk.  

*(must be 15 years or older to participate)


Online Registration: Follow these steps below to register online:


If you HAVE created an account through Blue Sombrero/Dick's Team Sports HQ:


1. Click on this link: Login


2. Click on Programs Available! next to your name.


3. Programs Available: Click “Select” for all the classes you want to sign up for and click “Continue” 


4. Program Information Needed: Answer the question and click “Continue” 


5. Registration Summary: Make sure the information is correct and click “Continue” 


6. Payment Information: Fill out your payment information and click “Continue” 


7. Confirmation: Click “Continue” to submit the registration



If you HAVE NOT created an account through Blue Sombrero/Dick's Team Sports HQ:

3. Primary Parent/Guardian Information: Fill out required information for yourself (*Disregard “Select your relationship to your participants” question and “Additional Parent/Guardian Information)


4. Select “I am registering myself in an activity.”


5. Add New Participant: Select Yes for “Is the participant the same as the primary account holder?” and “Is the participant's address same as the primary account holder?” (Fill out birthdate and any other information required)


6. Programs Available: Click “Select” for all the classes you want to sign up for and click “Continue”


7. Program Information Needed: Answer the question and click “Continue”


8. Registration Summary: Make sure the information is correct and click “Continue”


9. Payment Information: Fill out your payment information and click “Continue”

Class Descriptions

Dance Cardio with Katie (*This class is for women only): Dance cardio will combine a variety of dance movements for a fun workout!


Mat Pilates with Sarah: This class focuses on stretching and strengthening your core "powerhouse" muscles through a blend of traditional Mat Pilates and strength training exercises.


Senior Strength and Stretch: A class designed for seniors to increase strength and flexibility in order to improve or maintain activities of daily living.


Strength/Cardio: This class is a full-body workout that uses a variety of strength and cardio training exercises.


Core: 30 minute class that focuses on strengthening the core. Exercises such as planks, crunches, and bridges will be performed.

adult co-ed volleyball Open gym

Recreational volleyball open gym for anybody 18 years or older. Usually meet one or two Fridays per month (September through May). Contact Dustin Weber at lifefitness@stpeters-columbus.org for more information and to be added to the email list.
