SMALL GROUP BASKETBALL TRAINING CLINICS - July 2018

Life | Fitness and Sports will be offering some small group basketball skills training clinics this July for boys and girls entering 5th-8th grade. There will be a set of clinics the week of July 16th and another set of clinics the week of July 23rd. Each clinic is 1.5 hours per day for 4 days (Monday - Thursday). There will be a limited number of spots, so you must register in advance. 


Summary 


Clinics will focus on skill development by teaching the fundamentals of the game. The emphasis will be how to glorify God through the game of basketball. Each clinic will be limited to 8 players to allow for more individualized instruction.


Monday, July 16th - Thursday, July 19th:

  • 5th-8th Grade Girls: 8:30am-10:00am
  • 5th-8th Grade Boys: 10:30am-Noon

Monday, July 23rd - Thursday, July 26th:

  • 5th-8th Grade Boys: 8:30am-10:00am
  • 5th-8th Grade Girls: 10:30am-Noon

Cost


• $20 per participant per clinic

4. Fill out the information for your child and click continue


5. Programs Available: Click “Select” for the clinic you want to sign up for and click “Continue”

7. Registration Summary: Make sure the information is correct and click “Continue”


8. Payment Information: Fill out your payment information and click “Continue”


9. Order Review and Submission: Click “Continue” to submit the registration

life | Fitness

Fitness for Christ! Life | Fitness offers a variety of fitness classes that combine faith, fitness, and fellowship. Classes provide the opportunity to be in community with one another while glorifying God through physical fitness.


Life | Fitness classes will meet once a week for 5 weeks. The Summer round of classes will run from the week of May 28th through the week of June 25th.  The class schedule and descriptions are listed below.


Cost:

-1 hour classes cost $12.50 total for 5 weeks (*unless noted otherwise)

-If you would like to take multiple classes per week, please register for each class separately even if it is the same type of class.

-Scholarships are available, please contact lifefitness@stpeters-columbus.org or call (812) 372-1571 for more information.

Class Descriptions

Dance Cardio with Katie (*This class is for women only): Dance cardio will combine a variety of dance movements for a fun workout!


Mat Pilates with Sarah: This class focuses on stretching and strengthening your core "powerhouse" muscles through a blend of traditional Mat Pilates and strength training exercises.


Senior Strength and Stretch: A class designed for seniors to increase strength and flexibility in order to improve or maintain activities of daily living.


Strength/Cardio: This class is a full-body workout that uses a variety of strength and cardio training exercises.
